2010 Schedule of Events
Wednesday, June 16th
Arrival at Silverado, Napa Valley
The Silverado Resort is a leisurely drive from San Francisco, Oakland, or Sacramento, California. Many of our participants will choose to come in a day or two early (or possibly three given the area) to enhance their entire experience. Championship Golf will organize your additional accommodations and help with additional golf, wine tours, and any assorted activities on your agenda. Please give us a call to assist you when you are ready.
Welcome Dinner Party
Our opening party will be located in an area within the Silverado Resort known as 'The Grove'. Ideally located amongst the magnificent oak trees, and truly in the heart of the surrounding courses. The Grove offers the perfect setting for our kick-off welcome event.
Thursday, June 17th
Opening Tournament Round
Breakfast is served for our participants on the Fairway Deck in the main hotel lodge. We start each day overlooking the course and breathing in the fresh air that Napa is blessed with.
Following breakfast, golf begins today on the South Course at Silverado at 8:30am.
Following golf each day we return to the Fairway Deck for lunch, and a full recap of the day’s scoring.
Putting Event Like No Other
Early this evening everyone will congregate on the massive putting green in front of the Main Lodge. Activities include wine tasting and dinner. Oh, yes, we will also be conducting a putting competition with prizes galore!
Friday, June 18th
Second Tournament Round
Today’s play will once again commence after breakfast at 8:30am. Participants will play the North Course at Silverado.
Bocce Ball and Barbecue
We have a fun evening planned today! Everyone heads to the SPA at SILVERADO where a special area will be set up for our fun-filled group. The evening will feature some bocce ball fun (yes, someone will be there to assist and explain the simple rules). There will also be plenty of cocktails, wine, soft drinks and a wonderful barbecue for all to enjoy.
Saturday, June 19th
Final Tournament Round
The final round will again begin at 8:30am on the South Course at Siverado. Leaders in all divisions will be paired together, and another dramatic conclusion to the event is most likely in store!
Awards Gala
The final evening will be held in the main ballroom at the Silverado Resort. Tonight will not only feature dinner and drinks, it will also mark the culmination of an event that will rekindle old friendships and spark new ones. Whether you depart the TaylorMade Father and Son Invitational with a sparkling trophy or not – you will depart with much more than you arrived with. This is an event designed to enrich the lives of everyone involved!
Sunday, June 20th
Departure
Today the tournament participants depart for home with memories to last a lifetime!
